Cred Consulting takes the management, security and privacy of information seriously. This includes our own information, that of our clients and the communities we consult with. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and other relevant legislation to ensure the privacy and security of all personal information we manage. We also strive to adhere to industry best practices and standards in information security management.
What information we collect
Cred Consulting collects personal information only when necessary for business functions or activities. Personal information is disclosed only for the purposes for which it was collected, which may include with third- party service providers. We conduct due diligence to ensure that third parties comply with Australian privacy standards. Information is collected with explicit or informed consent and includes:
- Names, contact details and demographic information.
- Collection methods such as forms, surveys, interviews, focus groups, email, phone calls and workshops.
Participants are made aware of how their information will be used, and all data provided is de-identified when reported on. Participants can withdraw consent or access their information by contacting Cred Consulting (info@ credconsulting.com.au).
How we use information
We communicate our privacy practices through privacy notices, consent forms and/or verbal consent at the point of data collection. Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for its intended purpose. Sensitive data is securely deleted from all platforms, including Dropbox, Monday.com, and SurveyMonkey, after project completion. If a project extends beyond Cred’s direct involvement, we ensure that data is securely transitioned to our client and deleted from our systems. If you consent, or where you would reasonably expect us to, we may send you information related to our education and care services. We will provide you with a simple means by which you may request not to receive direct marking communications and will not send you materials if you have asked us not to.

These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user’s browser.
